Internship Overview
Each summer, we invite students from across the country to take part in an internship designed specifically for black and brown college golfers. The internship is tailored specifically to meet the needs of student-athletes looking to get real-world job experience, all while taking their golf games to the next level. Off the course, intern participants learn about running a community non-profit, develop sound coaching skills, get access to professional development opportunities, and make a huge impact on local youth. On the course, interns get access to top practice facilities, unique playing experiences, and professional coaching sessions all while being surrounded and pushed by a group of peers pursuing similar goals.
The paid internship runs for 9 weeks, and the capstone of the program is a week-long, immersive experience of the PGA TOUR’s Wyndham Championship. At the Wyndham Championship, interns will come face-to-face with PGA TOUR professionals, learn the ins and outs of running a major sporting event and get to network with national and local leaders.
