Be a Game Changer. Become a Coach.

At First Tee – Central Carolina, we use golf to help kids discover what’s inside of them and guide them to put it into action in everything they do.

To do this, we want adults (18+) who are young at heart to serve as positive mentors and role models to kids (Ages 5-18) of various backgrounds. Our coaches’ ability to develop impactful relationships with our participants is the backbone of our program.

You don’t have to be a golf pro, you just have to love the game, as well as working with kids. We will give you the support and tools you need to share your love of the game and make kids feel safe, included, and of course, empowered.

Currently, we are searching for new coaches for at least an hour our two each week, between 3:00 pm and 7:15 pm, during our Spring (mid-March to mid-May) and Fall (mid-August to mid-October) seasons at the following locations-

  • Gillespie Golf Course (Monday-Thursday)
  • Winston Lake Golf Course (Monday-Thursday)
  • Jamestown Park Golf Course (Monday)
  • Country Club of Salisbury (Tuesday)
  • Asheville Municipal Golf Course (Monday or Wednesday)
  • Mountain Glen (Thursday)
